Thanks to all the advice I got from the precious ladies in this forun, I was able to understand there is a difference between sucking and suckling. We had been doing it wrong this whole time. Once we changed the technique, I felt a huge difference. My nipples don’t feel sore anymore and hubby can nurse on me a lot more often. I found this article very helpful:
