Hello trying again if people want to get together and do a local meet up . Have discussions and if people feel comfortable can nurse too .
@carmeltits this is a great idea. If it’s in a major city like Seattle I’d be down for a trip from Vancouver over the border. Let me know if you need any help with organisation.
I would have to see how many people would want to go and find someone willing to help me organize it . It would be in Seattle . We people can learn new techniques . Women can learn on ways to help lactation and what pumps to use . What other things they can help produce milk . If people feel comfortable enough they can nurse . We can tell our stories and just be able to talk freely about it .

We had a PNW meet up close to Portland a year and a half ago. 8 people showed up, 4 men and 4 women. 5 people were from the Seattle area. So, a meet up around Seattle would probably get some good traction.
It was a great meet up. We met at a restaurant/tap house and then most walked down to a farmers market.
My advice is to pick a date when the weather is likely to be great and start planning. Have a central person driving it that is committed to getting it done, because it take a lot of effort. Have a small committee supporting with organizing and promoting it so the central person isn’t doing everything themselves and getting burnt out from it. Make it casual and about meeting others in a real life environment, not about suckling. Finally, have a fun activity close to the meet up spot or at the meet up spot. For instance a meet up spot at a bar that has ax throwing or at a Dave and Busters, ectI’m interested. Part of the reason I signed up was seeing this thread. Hi!
