Do people actually read personals?

I look at personal ads as much as any other search, but usually I only answer the messages and log out. It depends on a day and amount of time I have.

I give them a passing glance at least.
There’s rarely anyone local posting.
I don’t typically read the blogs and never do the puzzles. I’m not any good at them.

Too be honest, I’d say a hell of a lot don’t or are so rude and ignorant they can’t be bothered which is such a massive shame and would instantly remove all the bloody timewasters on here promising so much but I’m afraid just lie. Today’s world. Selfish people rule.

Personally I do read profiles. I think it is an opportunity to understand how someone thinks and how they approach life. I find human modes of self-expression and communication fascinating.

I do read them. And read their profiles also, before I decide to react.

I do read the profiles, after checking if the location is within a reasonable distance from where I live. It gives a lot of information if teh profile is setup properly in order to make a proper message

I suspect the majority of men don’t read profiles here let alone the personals.

Within the last 16 hours I’ve deleted messages from 5 or 6 men who clearly didn’t read mine. 2 of course were relocating to Ireland 🙄.

The majority of messages I receive are from men who clearly didn’t read my profile or did but then ignored my wishes regardless.

I read the personals every once in a while, but I use the search function and then read someone’s profile to see if there is anything in common before I reach out. Though, I have also had people reach out to me from reading my forum posts as well.
