Amazing. Sometimes it’s good to leave it as the mystery it is and just revel in the happiness. It’s so joyous.
I’m not deliberately being mysterious, I honestly don’t know. I’ve learned not to question my intuition, I trust it more than thought processes. You can convince your mind of pretty much anything that suits, but your intuition never fails.
You are very lucky there. I don’t know if its a Men thing where you start doubting/double guessing an intuition. Women’s intuition is famously accurate…we know about Caesar’s wife and her intuition and so many cases of women’s intuition being uncannily accurate.
Yeah, I don’t know if there’s any evidence that womens intuition is any more accurate than mens, or if it’s just a societal expectation. Sometimes I’ve know men to have reliable instincts about environment factors like weather changing or sense of direction, more than human factors. Maybe what we’ve evolved for? That doesn’t really explain why I was drawn to a stranger’s profile on a website though. I’ve learned not to question it because it raises more questions than answers. I just accept it.
Must admit though, for a fleeting moment I thought I’d be able to unlock the secret of how to write a profile that truly catches someone’s eye!
That’s what I mean making men work for it sounds like it’s not tangible lol like ma’am you’re not that special to make me work for it lol, dignity above everything.
Haha and that’s a classic example of your mind convincing you of something, hence all the questions!
Well, we are all on here to find that dream ABF match. Anything that helps me or gives me an edge, I will look to find, especially if it has proven successful for someone else. No shame in doing it or admitting it. The reward at the end of the day is worth it- like our American cousins say, the juice is worth the squeeze!
If someone tells you what to write, it’s not coming from your authentic self, so you won’t attract what is meant for you.
I accept your point completely. I wasn’t necessarily asking for what exactly to write,more about what within the writing attracted him to you…to capture the essence of what was the difference. It maybe of course I don’t have that USP, and it may very well or not, identify something, and again it could be just for you and it was meant to be just for you both.
Well, it,’s not of much use in this case, as you aren’t really able to crystallise what your intuition spoke to you feom those words.
But hey, I’ll keep at it in different ways. I know I will also get what I am looking for.
It may be that nobody has an USP, and that these things happen by chance. It wasn’t what he wrote, it was that I didn’t know what I was looking for but I just had a feeling that whatever it was, was in him. And I wasn’t wrong.
