I’ve heard of the Baby Buddha suckling prowess. But owning one, I can’t see anything near the kind of suction you describe @dezireeeliana. Looks like I need to learn how to measure flanges. 😬
Omg! That’s genuinely baffling, how it can pull a big blob out of your nipple, yet it can’t remove liquid 😳
I don’t know if baby buddha pumps are widely available in the UK 🤔 I might look into it.
@sweetdarkcanvasuk it’s easy actually. If you feel comfortable doing first try with your pinky to see if it’s bigger or smaller than your nipple. Depending on the size deviation find a similar size of flange. Also pay attention to what your pump accepts. For example I use a 11mm flange that fits a 24mm cone. That’s equally important. Now, if you can’t determine the size go to your local auto store and, here’s where it gets tricky, find a semi-lose fitting socket. In millimeters. Or go to a hardware store and use their sizing template in the fasteners aisle.

I bought my Baby Buddha on eBay, second hand. I was initially not impressed at all. I even listed it for sale.
But I took it along to the London Milk Munch and we all brainstormed what was missing vs what I could be doing wrong. A few months later and after lots of trial and error, I’m reasonably happy with it.
I suspect I need to RTFM. (Read The F**king Manual). 🙈

@June In the state I live on, going topless in public is permissible as long as it is done respectfully. I suppose that means, no grabbing one’s bosom and flapping it about, unless you say your tits are sweaty. LOL.
For the coagulated milk, it was more like thick strands. Truly baffling until I did some research, and that’s how I figured out I had mastitis. I wasn’t having much pain, the occasional tingle, but that’s about it.
And this is why we women can’t have a decent conversation without some guy chiming in, inappropriately.
