A Poem for Thee

Hello all, pleasure to make your acquaintance! I hope you’ve each had a lovely weekend. Having just stumbled upon this wonderful little community, I wanted to extend my fondest hello’s. While setting up my profile, and looking at all of the lovely posts so many people share, I was inspired to write this:

To all a kindred spirit
In love of nursing
Be received or given
To love, to share, tenderness, divine.

Moments, between few
Stolen away, in time
Sometimes frequent, often rare
Always with warmth, shared freely

To compare it to easier times
To hope for a brighter future
To live in the comfort of the present
Together

Real moments, real people
All in time, all at once
All as one, as we always have been
Shall be, forever more.
