A few gentlemen have recently asked me to look over their profiles and give them my honest, unfiltered opinion. Naturally, I obliged. I’ve never been particularly shy about having one. 😉
So, I thought, why not open the clinic to a few more patients? 🏥

First, I like quite a bit here! You’re thoughtful, curious, value genuine connection, and seem genuinely interested in a woman’s experience. All very appealing qualities! 🫶🏻

💊 Lose the apologies. There’s nothing wrong with explaining your neurodivergence or how you communicate, but you don’t need to present yourself as someone a woman must learn to tolerate.
💊 Retire “boring white male” immediately! You travel, explore, and enjoy learning. Tell us about your adventures, interests, and what makes you light up. Give women something to start a conversation about!
💊 Lead with your strengths. Your thoughtfulness, curiosity, and desire to give are far more compelling than a list of what you can’t or won’t do.
And for someone who claims he isn’t funny, your closing line suggests otherwise. 😉
Of course, these are suggestions, not orders. It’s your profile, and I wouldn’t want you to lose an ounce of your authenticity.
Prognosis: Very promising. A little editing, a little more confidence, and no invasive procedures necessary. 💋

I love this idea in principle, but one of the ways we can weed out people who aren’t after the same things as us, is by looking at the way they’ve written their profile and the amount of effort they’ve put into it. I worry that giving them a winning formula of a profile will just be another way us women can shoot ourselves in the foot!!
Bob, I actually love the idea of showing our favorite little corner of the internet some love! I’d want to keep the clinic free and open to everyone, but if anyone feels inspired to toss a few dollars into the site’s coffers, I’d certainly encourage it. A little preventative maintenance never hurt anyone! 😉🩺

Having had the pleasure of getting to know you, I can confidently say your profile is a lovely reflection of the man I’ve come to know. You’re warm, thoughtful, funny, and just the right amount of mischievous. And those poor, confused squirrels! 😂
My diagnosis? A remarkably healthy profile! Honestly, sweetheart, there’s very little I’d change.
💊 A few paragraph breaks would make it easier to read, especially between what you’re looking for and your interests.

Welshie, I do see where you’re coming from, and I appreciate you bringing it up! 💚 Sometimes a poorly written profile tells us far more than the gentleman intended. 😂
But I think there’s a difference between helping someone express who they really are and teaching them to pretend to be someone they’re not. I’m certainly not handing out a playbook for fooling women!
And I rather like the idea of a man being willing to ask for feedback, listen to a woman’s perspective, and put a little effort into improving himself. That tells us something about him, too.
Besides, we can polish the packaging all we like, but eventually the person behind the profile has to show up. And that’s when the real fun begins! 😉
