Bobbi, I’m still laughing at “douche knuckles” and “trouser monkey pictures.” 😂 Some men really do have an astonishing amount of confidence and very little judgment. Personally, I’d send that trouser monkey straight to the block list and get on with my day. 💋
THAT is an interesting angle. We really don’t like unanswered questions, especially when rejection might be one of the answers. So we fill in the blanks, sometimes with stories that make us feel better. Doesn’t mean those stories are true. And yes, the vibes have been a little peculiar lately. I’m beginning to think we need an exorcist.🙃
Oh, Hi, you haven’t missed one big event. It’s more of a recurring production around here, and frankly, I’m getting tired of buying tickets to the same show. 😂 Different cast, same drama, and somehow we’re all expected to participate. I’d much rather enjoy the scenery with you. 😘💋

I think there is strength in diversity that can peaceable coexist. I am not everyone’s cup of tea either…and am quite fine with that.

Honestly, every time someone announces they’re leaving the place reacts like we’ve just lost a beloved aunt in a suspicious gardening accident. There are statements, theories, enquiries and before you know it we’re three pages deep into solving the socio-political failings of a website whose primary purpose is, let’s be honest, showing each other bits we’d struggle to identify in a police lineup.
I think you’ve hit on something important though. Harassment and bullying are serious accusations and not interchangeable terms for “someone annoyed me” or “I didn’t enjoy that interaction.” If there’s genuine misconduct then absolutely deal with it but if Dave from Doncaster failed to appreciate your dazzling wit then that’s not necessarily a matter for the Hague.
As for Michael, I do sometimes wonder if people think he’s sitting in a darkened room surrounded by CCTV monitors, psychic crystals and a giant red button marked FIX HUMAN NATURE. The poor man does amazingly well in dealing with issues that are actually reported to him but can only work with the information he’s given.
The thing that always amuses me is how often personal disappointment gets dressed up as a community-wide catastrophe. Sometimes a place changes, sometimes people change, sometimes someone has a bad experience and sometimes the chemistry just isn’t there anymore. None of that automatically means the site is in terminal decline and moments away from sinking beneath the waves.
We’re all adults on an adult site and if we can navigate bras, flirtation, rejection, desire, disappointment and the occasional regrettable late-night message beginning with “u up?” then surely we can survive a disagreement without convening a public inquiry.
If every departure requires a dramatic exit speech and a forensic examination of everyone’s behaviour then I’m concerned I’ll need to submit a six-month notice period and an environmental impact assessment before taking a weekend off.
Anyway, I remain firmly in favour of less outrage, more perspective and significantly more boobs. Not necessarily in that order. 😉🍻

Hahaha! I’m seriously considering handing out juice boxes and putting people in time-out. 😂 And I agree! I actually enjoy people who think differently than I do. We don’t have to like each other, but surely we can manage to act like grown-ass adults. 😂❤️
