Hello everyone! My fwb loves to suck my nipples – since we‘re not in a committed relationship we meet up about 2 times/week and he suckles A LOT when we see each other. Its been nearly three months and lately I got the impression my boobs grew in size. Even one of my friends made a comment. Its not a full cup size but they definitely feel fuller and heavier. Is this a result from the sucking?

100% your breast are getting ready to produce milk. Hope you’re enjoying the experience.

Yeah thats what I was suspecting but I am a bit confused, I thought I‘d have to nurse way more regularly to make changes happening? I dont pump or do anything else to my boobs on the days we don’t see each other

It’s perfectly normal, Mary. Any regular stimulation, even less than once every day, can cause the breast tissue to start to develop for producing. If your friend suckles a lot during your twice-weekly meets, then that’s clearly enough.

I’ve read memoirs from couples who induced that they eventually settled into a routine of breastfeeding just once a day, so not fully lactating, but regular enough to keep a small amount of milk flowing over time. So don’t be too surprised by the revelation that your breasts are reacting to the stimulation, as they are meant to do.
