I have a question. Can estrogen be transferred from the breastmilk to the person receiving the milk? I just randomly wondered. Please reply back if you know. Thank you.

    Hi Thomas.

During breastfeeding, estrogen levels in a woman’s body typically decrease, but small amounts of estrogen can still be present in breastmilk.

When a person consumes breastmilk containing estrogen, the hormone can be absorbed into their bloodstream through the digestive system. However, the amount of estrogen transferred is negligible, and very unlikely to affect someone consuming it.
