Why is hard to find a local person

Without speaking for other people, while maintaining my respect for the people within this community, I would like to share an opinion.

It’s unfortunate but, before I learned about the community where adults are actually breastfed, I thought I might’ve been a horny pervert even though I was taught that ‘No means No’ and to be a gentleman. While I was able to look myself in the mirror, I still didn’t like that it was only me I was seeing. It possible that there might be other supporters or practitioners of adult breastfeeding who haven’t come forward, yet, because they’re afraid of being teased, picked on, or even attacked by someone, or a group of people, who can’t see the beauty in the practice let alone the relationship.

You asked why we can’t find a local person. My opinion, with all due respect, is that they’re afraid of being tormented worse than by the schoolyard bullies they dealt with in elementary school, middle school, and high school. But it’s because of places like this, and moderators like Michael_Admin, that we have a few safe places where we can commune with people who are like us and try and treat them with the same dignity & respect that we’d want them to show towards us.

Don’t limit yourself to just AN/ABF sites. I heard fetlife has a subset for ABFtANR. Also, regular dating sites. I met my bf on one. And I got into it after we had discussed it. Best of luck
