Are we talking ANR or ABF? My first ANR partner I drove to see her for 3 hours across 2 states on a regular basis. For ABF, I’ve flown across 5 states. Tried to fly even further once, but they flaked on me.
I would travel the world for the right person. Distance us no issue for me, but a lot of people don’t like the idea of a LDR not knowing when we would be able to meet. Definitely is a challenge, but I have accepted that challenge and hope one day she (whomever she is) will do the same.
Already have a passport in the works so I can even go to other countries.
@Michael that is such a great attitude! With such a small community, I feel it is important to be open to travel for the right person. Yes long distance is daunting and a lot of work, but the reward is greater than words can express!
I’ve traveled an hour when I was in LA. the problem there was that some partners were just very inconsistent or just a one time thing. it’s hard to find someone you can bond with if both have a busy schedule

@gmrgirl It seems like there are a lot of people in the SoCal area, I assumed it’s easier to find someone there.
The longest I’ve driven is an hour and I thought that was pretty far. Apparently it’s not far enough.
12 hours back and forth 600 miles to Arizona and him to me in California. ❤
it is but I feel its more hook up culture oriented most of the time. I’ve met like 3 people off here and each time it always felt like it was less than casual if that makes sense in terms of repeat sessions.

Wow guys glad for the ones who found meaningful connections but I gotta say reading this thread is pretty sad lol makes it seem like I’m looking for the impossible
The longest/furthest I have traveled was on hour. A guyvtraveling to me was a 3 hour drive, Kansas City kS to Lincoln, NE. I would consider traveling further or even flying if there were an equal amount of effort from the other person. I’ve considered random meetups lol, fly somewhere, sight see, nurse, fly home, but I’m just not into random and one off sessions.
So it seems it’s really about hookups or a ABF, not an ANR since there is no way you can have a real ANR if the persons is hours away and you see them sporadically.
