Just thought it would be fun to chat about something different! What’s an unpopular opinion you hold? I’ll go first:
I think hot beverages are a waste of time!
It’s taboo for a British person to say, but I never drink tea. Now I’m living in North America where coffee culture prevails and I can’t get behind it. Before you write me off as a human hear me out. I grew up taking sport quite seriously, so I used to have those lucozade glucose/caffeine tablets on competition days for that little extra edge. Now I associate caffeine with sport so I never got into hot drinks as a young adult and now I just don’t care for them. Although, I do enjoy a hot chocolate when the time is right.
My unpopular thoughts are there are lots of guys here spoiling the site
Ha weirdly it’s not about the temperature for me, I just don’t like the flavour. Although when it’s more cream and sugar than coffee I’mfine with it. Like an iced frappe with extra caramel.

@luckyleo fair enough not enjoying the taste! i agree on the guilty pleasure of a frappé though! especially a beach in greece… 😋
how are you getting on with maple syrup on everything? 🙃
While I enjoy the smell of coffee the taste gags me. Why drink something so bitter?
My unpopular opinion is that most musicals suck. I watched Les Miserables under duress and there was too much singing. I kept waiting to see why Les was miserable but he wasn’t even in the movie. This confirmed my opinion about musicals.

I actually didn’t know it was a musical until the opening song in the rain while pulling on the chains etc. The book had no singing so the movie wasn’t faithful to the book. Far fetched idea? Not really, look at The Hobbit novel, it had songs so putting them in the movie made sense.

@art I love that “why was Les so Miserable”. I actually saw it at the cinema too, now knowing it was a musical. I didn’t mind so much. What do you think of stage musicals?
If you want a hot beverage, then indulge with modrrstion. If not, then abstain. There is no requirement for anyone to partake in hot beverages.
