Quick update….
Added a comments section to Media pics & videos etc, you can now tell them how much they are appreciated! Your comments will only be visible to other members who have permission to view the Media (Friends etc)
January 11, 2022 at 2:42 am #87044Is that something we can lock or unlock?
January 11, 2022 at 2:56 am #87050Can the media owner delete comments?
January 11, 2022 at 3:11 am #87063@grog … meaning you can choose to allow/ not allow comments on your Media? No, it’s set as on for anyone who has permission to view.
@treasure … yes you can delete any comments left on your own Media.
January 11, 2022 at 12:14 pm #87182Will we be notified if someone leaves a comment on our photos?
January 11, 2022 at 1:10 pm #87190Fantastic! This gives me motivation for continuing to post new photos!
January 11, 2022 at 7:29 pm #87282@grog …no, sorry, a new comment on your Media item will NOT trigger a notification.

InactiveI think some women will like the attention and appreciate the “feedback” but I wrote a posting on here about dumb stupid things men say to women, and I think the comments on photos will likely lead to much more of that.
Some of the men on here seem to think that because this site has a theme about breasts that the women somehow don’t have feelings or don’t need respect. Guys need to behave, and be as respectful as they would be toward their own mother or own sister. I would caution men on here to not say anything in photo comments that they would not say to a stranger woman at a bus stop with their mom there with them.
January 12, 2022 at 8:59 pm #87723@rickrock…, yes your point is well made.
– unfortunately the settings don’t allow me to give individual users the ability to turn comments on/off for their own media. It’s either on for everyone, or off for everyone. Not ideal.
– users can however delete any comments on their own media. So that’s something.
– given that most users have the Privacy settings on their Media set to “Friends Only”, that should reduce the number of unwelcome comments. Friends are unlikely to be leaving inappropriate comments, if they do then you can unfriend them.
– So really just trying this out for now, if it proves problematic it can simply be removed. But I think it will be ok, mostly. -
