Small security tweak:
You probably already know, newly registered users sit in a “moderation list” during which time they can not initiate private messages or friends requests with anyone. Gives Admin time to check out their profile details, make sure all seems ok, then they are “approved” and can use all the normal functions of the site.
However, while on the “moderation list” they were able to receive and respond to messages/friend requests sent by regular users to them. This was always a issue and has now been addressed.
Sorry to all the “early bird” guys, who like to contact new users ASAP. From now on the PM & Add Friend buttons will not show on newly-registered users profiles, until they are approved.

She tried to find my address in Texas, then in Charlotte NC where I live in the 1970’s. She searched the internet to get my real name and middle initial, I only use my nickname on this site – Buck.
She seems like a scammer.

searching the internet to try and check on someone’s background, possible criminal history etc, is not signs of a scammer. It’s a sign of somebody taking sensible precautions when dealing with strangers online. Not suspicious really.
Aside from that, please do not name any users here in the public forum to report suspicious behaviour. Message me privately and it can be dealt with.
