InactiveI ordered a set of lacTeck silicone flanges, after using them one time for a few minutes I think these flanges could be a game changer.
Anyway, that got me to thinking that there are a lot of products out there some of us have tried a ton of them some have tried a few, some have bought some expensive pumps like the willow, a lot of supplements, and various brands of domperidone.
So maybe a post where we can give our own product reviews would be helpful. I’m not suggesting anyone else follow suit if they are not comfortable with it, but I would be willing to create a video to show the differences in some pumps and flanges.
Let me know what your thoughts are on this. If there is enough interest and participants we can see what we would be able to pull off.

InactiveI’d be on board! I think it would be great to “compare notes”. What works for one doesn’t work for all but I’m sure there’s things I haven’t even thought to try!

March 16, 2022 at 11:57 am #114288A good idea. Information sharing is a way to help cement the community together and bring members the information to make informed decisions about the purchases that they may be considering relative to ABF/ANR. Bravo ! I say !

Inactive@lusciousliz may I ask — how are those flanges different from the Maymomm insert ones? And are they compatible with many different setups (e.g. Medela, Willow, etc.)?
I also agree having a product review post would be pretty awesome!

InactiveThey are interchangeable with a lot of systems. I have hygeia, medela, ameda, spectra, and Bella breast pumps, I’ll check to see if they fit all of them in the next few days and report back on fitment. As far as differences compared to hard shell flanges, these are the closest to actually suckling on the market. I’ll do a write up review as well as some type of video so that everyone can see specifically how they differ from hard shell flanges.

InactiveAs far as I know we are allowed to post links. We’ll have @tuehlykv Michael, can you verify this?

InactiveI’ll post reviews on Motilium and Cadila brands of Domperidone, those 2 are the only ones I have tried. I’ll also post my experience with fenugreek, all of the pumps, and flanges that I have used.

InactiveI forgot to answer your other question. They are way better than the maymom inserts, and they are available in all of the sizes that other flanges come on. As compatibility with the willow and elvie pumps, I do not think they are, but I’ll double check that info.

InactiveFirst review, the BellaBaby breast pump. I have previously recommended this pump, I will not recommend it again. The reason for me recommending it were the cost, the size, and the sound. It could be stored in an insulated lunch box while pumping and that made it near impossible for others to hear.
So why is it that I will no longer recommend this pump.
I bough the pump brand new from Amazon in December of 2020, slightly over a year ago. I tried to use the pump a few days ago and the pump would not turn on. Figuring the battery was dead I put it on the charger, the battery never charged, and the pump would not turn on while hooked up to the power supply. The pump is about 3 months passed the warranty, so there is nothing the maker or Amazon is willing to do about it. In the little over a year that I owned the pump I only used it 20 to 30 times. It was not subjected to extreme hot or cold temperatures, so there is not logical explanation for the battery dying and the pump not turning on even with the power cord. What I am left with is a 50 dollar paper weight that is going in the trash tomorrow.
