I put up a forum post a few days ago asking for opinions about a proposed new site feature, “private notes” where you can leave notes (only visible to you) on other users’ profiles.
The response was mostly positive… so let’s go ahead with it.
It’s currently activated on Verified Members accounts only – with a view to activating it for everyone after the Verified folk have tested it out for a while, see if its a “good fit” for ABFheaven.Simple to use:
– visit any user’s profile , you’ll see a My Notes button, click that to leave a note (visible only to you).
– your note will display whenever you visit the profile.
– use the My Notes button anytime to edit or delete notes.
– on your own profile, click the My Notes button for a full list of all your notes, plus links.OK, verified members, go for it! And leave some comments below please – is it easy to use? Good addition to the site? Any downside or issues?
And all regular users – please consider getting your account verified to get this handy feature added to your account. Contact Michael_Admin anytime. Thanks!

I’ve played around with it and it’s easy to use and I think it’s a great addition to the site and has much potential.
I would recommend that anyone seriously searching to get your account verified and make use of this feature!

I’ve noticed that the Notes can also work as a simple “Following” feature; on ABFheaven it’s not easy to quickly find someone unless you are Friends, they are kinda lost in the mix and you have to search. Now you can simply add a quick note to their profile and find them anytime from your notes-list, on your own profile. Very convenient.
Nice and easy to use.
