Hello.
What is the estimated time it takes a new member’s profile and account to be approved?
And how soon does an existing member need to wait, before he or she can a message to a newly registered member/user?
If verified straight away I think otherwise it’s 3 days yo because to message them or accept any requests off new members
Hi,
– when someone registers an account, it is automatically in “not yet approved” status. During this time, no-one can contact them with a PM or a friend request. They are however contacted by the Welcome Team, and depending on how quickly they respond to this their account goes into “approved” status. So the time delay is down to them, not to the site admin. If they simply do not respond, then after a few days the account gets deleted.
– once newly “approved” there is a period of three days where only Verified Members can contact them with a PM/Friend Request. The new member however is free to contact anyone. This puts the control & choice in their hands, and is intended to lessen the issue where new female members get an avalanche of annoying messages immediately after approval.
– three days after approval, anyone can contact them.

Not to sound silly asking, how do you know if you own profile and account is verified?
I assume after registration, there was a verification email to complete, in order to activate a profile and account?
“approved” means you have been approved by the site admin. You will get an email informing you. You will also notice you can suddenly send PMs and friend requests to other members.
“verified” means your account is in Verified status. You get this following a donation to the site. It’s voluntary. You get the blue checkmark shield alongside your name.
OP, I am a new member as of a couple of hours ago. It took about 12 hours for my account to be approved. That includes the overnight while we all slept, so I imagine it would be much faster during the day. I hope that helps.
