Questions for the ladies who have had success inducing:
    1. How long did it take you to begin producing milk once you started the process?
    2. How much time did you spend per day in doing so? Did you pump or use Tens unit?
    4. What would you have done differently?
    5. How do you manage pumping now that you are producing? (Do you still pump a few times a day or does your partner provide enough stimulation to keep your milk in?)

    Question for the gentlemen:
    1. What is the biggest challenge in helping your partner meet their goal of milk production?

I am aware a lot of these answers can be found on the internet.. I’m looking for experiences HERE. I’m still at the very beginning of my journey (less than 2 weeks in). I look forward to all responses.

Actually, now that I re-read that, all of the questions are applicable to everyone. Disregard the headings 💗

I would say. The feeling of not being able to help more. Other then that. Maybe a sore jaw from nursing. But that goes away once you get used to it. I think alot have pressure to produce. Because they think their partner wouldn’t be happy with the amount. However I feel that any amount is amazing. And should be celebrated.

@Joe- I agree, any amount is amazing! Sometimes, it can be easy to hyperfocus on one aspect of this relationship (quantity, breast size, etc). Great reminder to celebrate all of it. It’s a beautiful process and pleasure can be found every step of the way!

    Thank you 💗

Totally true however a true breast lover would love them no matter size. And it is an amazing thing. And can be very rewarding. And you are welcome 😊.

Ok, so this is just what I’m needing to know right now! I’m on “attempt” #4 right now for this past year. First, it kinda waylaid me in figuring out “this is truly my thing” to dropping it on Hubby. which it took him 6 months to realize what it REALLY meant for me due to him being in his own head about other stuff life was throwing at him and figuring bout some personal stuff for himself. Second- ridiculous amounts of stress this year had me pulled one hundred different ways and frazzled!
I would like to know how much involvement by human or pump they had as well. Hubby and I don’t have shared days off (totally bites!) and some days he gets up ridiculously early and stumbles off to work. He suckles at least once, twice a day if I’m lucky. (Jackpot is 3…..) I use the pump 2 times a day for at least 3-4 total for day, but am thinking about starting my middle night pump again. Hubby also has severe ADD, so that’s a component as well we struggle with. This current round, he started coming twice a day on his own for about 3 weeks before I started pumping. Of course, work picked sup for both of us, now we’re back to once a day so I’m back to more pump than mouth. I’ve gotten a couple of drops, some size increase, and have the achiness and “need” but can’t seem to turn the corner. I know mouths are the BEST but I can’t be the only one having to hump the pump!
Looking forward to the input from everyone!

LYNN, for your situation you may want to look into a tens unit. My former partner swore by it. I helped her induce. The tens you can wear under your clothes and noone will know you have it on. So that may supplement the stimulation you need. However nothing works as well as someone nursing.
