Perception is everything. I’m a glass is half full kind of guy. I think it’s a positive thing when you come to the conclusion you’re communicating with someone who is on a different wavelength than you are.
With your example of being asking questions that seem like a job interview, which seems impersonal and objectionable, that would tell me I’m most likely not compatible with this person, I should politely say good bye, and continue to look for someone more in line with my values and sense of what I’m interested in.
I strongly believe taking action on these kind of feelings will let me make better decisions now, save me time, and result in less grief in the future. For both parties.
The woman asking the questions needs to be sure you say who you are and not a pretender, looking to get a foot in the door, so to speak. If you’re genuine and authentic, these questions shouldn’t bother you. If on the other hand, You’re not who you say you are, then they should bother you. Just answer the questions as fully and truthfully as you can.
