My child and i buy a new tree decoration every year preferably when we are on holiday. I always have mulled wine when i wrap my presents whilst listening to fairytale of New York and every year we watch the christmas chronicles, home alone 1 and 2, christmas with the kranks and Elf. When im alone its the holiday and love actually and bad santa 😂🤣 Every xmas morning i make brie and cranberry puff pastries. Also my sons father comes up about 4 am each year to be here to see his childs face xmas morning. Its definitely my favourite time of year 🎄🎁✨🎅🤶☃️❄

Here in the east of France we have the sixth of December Saint Nicolas’s day. Children let their slippers near fireplace the evening before. When they wake up next morning, they received some chocolate, gingerbread, clementines, oranges and small toys in their slippers.

This tradition went to the States and it created Santa Claus for the world.

For Christmas this is a family meal with parents, sister, aunts/uncles, grand parents and cousins (15 persons).
We change place each year (not in the same house).
We often eat snails with parsley butter (except my grandfather!), scallops, a stuffed turkey with chestnuts and mushrooms and a sweet log to finish.

It is not finished. We have another family meal for the new year!
