Ive been producing tiny drops for the first time after some semi regular suckling sessions and some massaging. Super exciting (and a little weird given I’ve never done anything like this and never had kids). Any insight on how long it generally takes from here to produce more than a drop? Are tens units or supplements more effective in your opinion? Comments from those who have successfully lactated most appreciated please

InactiveI just got an advice on tens unit and will be using it when it arrives tomorrow. I am only doing massage/hand expressions and pumping, but I am not producing much yet. It can take many weeks to see increase in milk supply. I have gave up 3 times before, so this is my 4th try! I only have tiny drops coming out so far, long way to go for me, too.
January 12, 2022 at 8:56 am #87553Tens, regular massage and natural supplements can certainly help turn a few drops into a more regular amount.
There’s a whole host of non prescription supplements that will, in most cases help build supply. Having said that everyone is different so timescales are difficult if not impossible to predict.
I have previously published a long list of natural supplements on the site. Please feel free to PM me if you need help.January 12, 2022 at 7:27 pm #87692Anonymous
InactiveDefinitely get a TENS!!! I love mine. It’s just a cheap $30 one from Amazon. The sensation is awesome, I was scared it’d hurt lol. It seems to be helping me but I’m not 100% sure yet.

Inactive@jackb She did say, “comments from those who have successfully lactated”. Have you?

Inactive@Effervescent1 We get your point, but you failed to include the last three words in your quote. What she *actually* said is, “Comments from those who have successfully lactated most appreciated please“
