Hello!
I just started my lactation journey, and I would love tips and tricks for how to induce? I am not pregnant nor do I plan to be, so that’s off the table. I have begun to pump several times a day, but am wondering if I should do anything else?
Goat’s Rue and Alfalfa are good for inducing lactation.
Also be sure the drink plenty of water.
You can also get a tens unit for additional stimulation.
Other herbs to look into are:
fennel,
milk Thistle,
blessed thistle
bitter melon,
torbangun
ixbut,
moranga leaf
dill,
licorice.
Hi Angel,
I agree with most of Avery’s supplement suggestions, I can give you doses of the ones I know about if you want? DM me?
If you was closer I would be interested in the suckling session
Mikalah on here has an amazing podcast and goes into inducing in great detail. I find it so helpful. It’s called Lactation Station. Good luck ❤️
Also agree with @lovelatch about a tens unit and @jackb has great advice. Also making things with oats and brewers yeast like lactation cookies and smoothies.
Suckling on a regular basis (often) and massage. Pump when you cannot.
https://lactation.wiki/wiki/Inducing_Lactation_Resources has the basics on how to induce without a pregnancy.
