Can any women please tell me if any/all white liquid drops appearing after pumping are definitely milk please? The reason I ask is that it doesn’t always taste sweet and I’m wondering if this might be some other fluid as a result of pumping but not necessarily milk, if that makes sense?
It could be a mix of “other” fluids. If it’s still sticky then it’s your ducts being cleaned out.
At times I can get splashes off white drops in my flanges and it’s def milk, not colostrum.
Keep the faith, your body is amazing! 🌸💦
Milk or colostrum.
The only time it’s colostrum is when a woman has given birth. The hormones released from the placenta detaching are what causes colostrum production.
It’s not Colostrum if you aren’t pregnant. If you’ve had a child and nursed before it could be mammary gland memory. Like me; I nursed my daughter till she was 6 years old. Women who have lactate faster. Those who have not had childbirth and nursed and going to have a hard time. Facts;even taking supplements. The best to you. You should get milk if you’re pumping. I never pumped it just poured out of me allday. Supply and demand.
@newmilkmaiden. “ never pumped it just poured out of me all day”
What an intoxicating image!! Just thinking about it makes my spine tingle!!!
