June 24, 2023 at 12:21 am #297989I agree.
Though in certain cases “pesky” 👀 seems more gooder. 😜😂🤣June 24, 2023 at 2:19 am #298040@grogman – Pretty-cocky

June 24, 2023 at 3:30 am #298105It is interesting. Cockiness emotes confidence in some contexts. But over the top cockiness is arrogant. I hard to look up the etymology.
“arrogantly pert,” 1768; originally “lecherous” (1540s);

InactiveAny number of words fit, brash, brazen, etc., but I’m thinking that cocky is gender oriented.
I can think of a word or two I’ve heard but will not repeat which probably is a female equivalent of cocky.

InactiveI’m going to throw my two cents in. I looked up the word cocky and of course it’s a derivative of cock plus Y. But then I also noticed some of the previous options such as brazen and such.
So one option is to define ours as vaginay or vaginy.
There was one entry that was being shown to identify something as being other than cocky. That word was vainglorious. We could change to vaginaglorious.

June 24, 2023 at 9:03 pm #298502Dear All, I apologize for playing with words and misunderstanding something that I shouldn’t, but you know English isn’t my mother tongue. So I would like to get to know the origin of the word cockpit. Does it mean a special kind of pit where you can find a lot of c…ck 😊? I hope this doesn’t show that I’m very cocky.
Sorry for any convenience I caused.
Have a nice weekend. -
