Hello all i recieved some feedback so thought i would bring it to the community. For women the choice may be easier as they have the option to post their bust picture or an avatar but men are here looking for women. For men, it may be a bit more challenging as women want to see a guys face, but some men still want to maintain anonymity.
1.Do women give guysthe same attention if he uses his face picture, or avatar? and would it matter if you weren’t interested in the guy based on other factors, ( age, location, race, height)
2.Does an avatar make you less suspicous our more?
3. Should a man show his face in his avatar if most women on this site choose not to?
4. what would make a man less suspicious? or should women hold caution anyway since this is somewhat a taboo niche field
always a face pick. the avatars are creepy. I like to look at who i am talking to.
I’m with Grandtetons, it’s nice to put a face to the chat. Avatars are okay for a profile picture. After a few messages I’d like to see my chat buddy.
Interesting, wouldn’t you ask for a person’s picture afte r 3-5 messags, so it would be assumed you would share pictures if you have a common interest.

I try not to make assumptions. It is polite after a few messages if all that is available is an avatar. If they aren’t yet comfortable so be it. If a friendship is created, we’ll share photos sooner or later.
I agree grogman, i look it less casual as more of a job interview. They don’t ask for pictures on your resume’ because they want to see if they are interested. If the job is then they will ask for an in person or video interview to see who their potential candidate is.
I really don’t care either way.
The initial message to me and the following conversation will have a MUCH greater impact on me than a profile picture– faceless or not. And in that conversation we will eventually exchange face pics.
These tiny avatar pics never held much value for me. Regardless if it’s a face or boobs, neither truly fit in the space.
My partner has a straight forward profile but chose anonymity and left the funky avatar up. We connected outside the site and are still together.
The ONLY time I’m suspicious of the avatar pics are the ones attached to the overbearing messengers. You can tell it’s BS by the flow conversation. Those guys are typically wanting pics and are gone within a few days.
Do I feel it’s a double standard to expect men to show a face pic, absolutely! I’ve read in the chat (multiple times) a woman telling a men to change their avatars, meanwhile she did not have a face pic. She also made it known to the site she wanted to remain anonymous.
This convo has come up before. The opportunity to exchange pics and have voice conversations are in the messenger. Everyone should use those tools.

I couldn’t care less if its his face picture, or avatar. He could be absolutely gorgeous but the biggest asshole to walk the earth in which case id never meet him. I also dont have a face pic up so would never expect him to either. That been said if we are chatting a bit id look to do a video call which gives a better indication then photos do. If he cant do that id start to question why.

I most definitely prefer a face pic. I also like to know who I’m talking to.
