Hello all, does anyone know why on certain accounts, I’m not able to add the person as a friend or message them? I feel like if I were blocked, I wouldn’t be able to see their profile at all. Thanks.

The OP is not a new member though. He appears to be here since 2019. I think though Michael will have to confirm that if you add someone as a friend already and they decline your friendship, you cant add them a second time. I think I read that in a post before but someone else might know more.
Thanks for the replies everyone. @Juicyboobies, Michael is saying that you cannot message or friend people that aren’t yet approved by the admins. I don’t have a problem with people not being able to message me or add me as a friend. It’s when I’m trying to add or message them, I run into this, because as Michael said, their profile isn’t yet verified.
Users can restrict who can send them a message, the options are anyone, no one, or friends only. I’m not sure if there is a way to restrict friend request.
The new user accounts usually don’t get verified and approved for approximately a few days from when they first join. Until then when you look at the profile the Friend and Message buttons are not there. Once approved the buttons appear and you can make a friend request or send a message.
A general rule of thumb I learned here is that most members prefer to be messaged first and develop communication before becoming friends. Of course your mileage may vary!
Funny the women who block me on here and I wouldn’t message them if they were the last people on earth.
@FJB I think it’s safe to say several people preemptively blocked you because the do not want you looking at their profile based on your ugly personality. I was never concerned about you messaging me, I simply did not want you seeing my profile and I certainly didn’t want to look at yours. I’ve talked with others that have blocked you, it’s their place to say why. I doubt they will wait their time, and I doubt you will care. You are who you are, and this is the last time I’ll respond to anything you say.

Women aren’t the only ones that preemptively block you.I just find it funny people block people so they don’t look. It’s like why hide when I’ve never messaged you or harassed. I could care less what you have on your page. I block because i don’t want to be messaged. Go ahead and keep hiding.
By the way my personality is not ugly. It’s the way you see it. Very hypocritical, but hey, to each their own
