For the ladies on here, do you have any suggestions for a good breast pump that won’t break the bank?

When I breastfed my child I had the medela double pump one, it was fantastic. Now I’m inducing I have lansinoh. Think it was about 140sterling on amazon. It’s also very good and does the job.

my old whiteriver pump is the best I’ve had, but they no longer make them. I purchased a spectra s1 double pump, which is good. However the flanges were hard and plastic. I ordered soft flexible flanges from lacteck….they are great and fit onto the spectra s1. You can order from a variety of sizes, important to get the right size flange for effective pumping. Some of the sites have info on how to measure for the correct size flange opening. Dig around and you will determine the proper size for you. My breasts really did better with the flexible flanges like my whiteriver had.

I just bought a wearable one in amazon. My Medela ( bought used on Craigslist) seems to have lost suction but I’ve had for many years now. The new wearable one is kinda weird it feels like placement shifts. Im dry so its hard to gauge if its doing a good job or not.

The Baby Bella on Amazon is a great starter pump with a minimal investment. It’s usually around $60 US. (Though I just checked and it’s higher, currently). I actually found mine new on EBay for $22. It’s not a Spectra or Madela but I didn’t want to lay out that kind of money, initially, or deal with buying replacement parts if I bought used.
