InactiveI came across this book a few days ago, (Love’s Sweet Embrace By, Jennifer Elisabeth Maiden) Have any of you read it? Have any of you read any other books on the topic? If you have what title/s and what did you think of book/s?
October 16, 2022 at 9:43 pm #199138Thank you for this post. I think it would be great if we could get people together for an anr book club forum.

From a quick search, it seems that most, if not all of the abf/anr books, fall into the category of erotic literature, as opposed to genuine medical advice.
I assume, perhaps incorrectly, that you’re seeking the latter?

Inactive@gman I haven’t read any so far, but I think I’m more interested in someone that has written about their personal experience. If you look up the description of the book I listed you should be able to get an idea of what I’m interested in. I think that book could have some great advice on approaching a partner about adult nursing when that conversation has not already taken place.

InactiveI shouldn’t have to say this, but since I’ve received a message and a friend request now because of this post, I have to say it.
Do not message or friend request to discuss this post. The point of this post is to discuss it with members site wide in the forum, not in private message. At no point in my post did I ask anyone to message me their thoughts on any books. There may be members that are not aware of published literature on the topic of ANR/ABF. It would be nice if they could gain knowledge of it in this post, discussing this in private message keeps others from learning.

October 18, 2022 at 5:51 pm #199868There are scenes, at least, in classic literature too.
The absolutely mind-blowing ending of The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck immediately comes to mind.
I read it when I was a teen, and before I saw the classic 1940’s movie rendition. The movie was great, but all during it, I was wondering how they would handle the ending. When it finally came, I was slack-jawed and positively angry at how insipid and pathetic it was compared to the book! They just muttered a bit while driving off!? Oh, well, the movie was still very good, but the book – that book! Wow!
James Joyce’s Ulysses is another which has moments of revelry in the topic. (Alas, I’m not a fan of his stream-of-consciousness writing, genius as he may have been.) The book was banned in the U.S. as “pornography” until the 30’s, but is considered a masterpiece today.
Any other literary references (non-erotica) out there?
