As wonderful as it is ABF is not for everyone. Indeed, most women I know have never heard of it and probably never will. I’m curious when you knew you had found something amazing and got hooked on ABF. Was it your first time or later on? Whenever it was, what was it about that one magical experience that put you on the ABF/ANR path for life?

actually I have never had the experience yet, I just think it would feel awesome. When I was pregnant i went from a C cup to a DD and seeing the milk drip out of my breasts with the slightest lil touch was something that really peaked my interest to the level that I want to try it. Amazingly enough alot of my friends had NOOOOOOOOOOO idea that you could produce milk without being pregnant.

For me it was a light bulb moment 20 years ago when I stumbled upon the concept online and knew it was what had been missing.

Happy to say the experience is even more amazing than what I’d imagined. Rarely does reality live up to such a lofty bar, but ANR has exceeded it.

I do a lot of childcare, and I was babysitting a little guy who was having a really hard time going to sleep without his mama. He was rooting around trying to get my boob as I was holding him in that all too familiar position. I impulsively whipped it out and dry nursed him to sleep. It was a great feeling to be able to comfort him like that. I don’t remember how I stumbled on abf but is was soon after. I decided I wanted to try inducing and started pumping and taking supplements. I was embarrassed to, but finally brought it up with my then partner and he thought I was crazy and was not into helping. So I quit because it didn’t make sense to induce without a partner. I got pregnant a couple years later, and had a very pleasant first year of breastfeeding. Nursing a toddler was not nearly as enjoyable but I continued through the next year. That brings us to now, I found myself single and lactating still. I just joined abf heaven a few weeks ago and have had a few nursing sessions now. I was completely hooked after the first time. It was so supremely relaxing and enjoyable ( I think I had found a really good first partner, which helps 😊). Pretty sure I never want to stop lactating now, and can’t imagine a romantic relationship that doesn’t include it again! ❤️💦
