I have mixed feelings because I met a few people I connected with who’ve not been off the site for over a year. The notifications work and are helpful. However, when I do a search in my area in a specific age group, less than half have been on the site in under a year. Anything beyond two years, they’ve definitely forgotten about the site. I’ve seen people with five year old profiles saying they are “new to this.”
There are plenty of businesses and apps that share dates for closing accounts if they are inactive for a period of time. Those that want to be here can sign up again.
