Just another tit pic…Cyber-insecurity

So my kids saw this pic of my left breast accidentally. Windows 10 outed me. It synced my laptop and desktop thereby changing the desktop background  on the computer in the living room to what was on my laptop which was this pic.  I came out into the living room and my older son who is 12 was looking at it head cocked sideways saying, “What happened to the computer? What is that?”

And my 6 y/o son then said,  “That’s weird looking is it a balloon?”.

“Then my older son says it kinda looks like a lamp or something but it’s not”

I said, “oh don’t worry about it its nothing.” at the same time as I was warp speed changing said background back to their picture lightning fast.

My 12 y/o, not as easily distracted as my 6 y/o  says “But what was it It seems familiar. But I can’t tell, its weird.”

Meanwhile I was about as red as the shade in the pic with embarrassment.

And I was thinking to myself at the time of this  incident, “You boys both drank from that boob at one time.” My babies. God I love them so much. I have the best kids. I am blessed in this life for sure. But it was a stark reminder at the same time that it is my job to protect them and their innocence  in this life too. Let them be kids while they are kids… and not subject to such a provocative thing as seeing their mom’s tit on the computer desktop. Stupid Windows 10. I need to up my digital savviness before my personal photo album ends up syncing to other peripheral electronic devices…Google photos…I’m talking about you. Actually, I took my account off their devices weeks ago. That’s all I need is a call from the school telling me my son has porn on his chromebook and did I know…What a nightmare that would be.

Kids grow up so fast. I love them.   I love my left boob too…I am attached to it.   Sigh, Windows 10 and Google strike again.

  1. Wow , one has to be careful, I thought I deleted a pix like that sent by a member then I went to one of my albums and there it was with all it’s adult beauty, my teen girls frequently use my computer rather than their own. I don’ savvy why it happens but I gotta be more careful too.

  2. Talk about a close shave! It’s true that children sure grow up fast, and sometimes they can forget special moments like nursing in their very early days. In hindsight though, it’s probably good that they didn’t quite realise what was in that picture – it would’ve been a very awkward explanation if they had!

Security is indeed vital on our computers, especially when they are linked to so many other devices around the house. My technique is to always use the ‘In Private’ tabs on a web browser, so every time I log into ABF sites such as this, there’s no viewing history recorded of it, and whatever I see or write stays on that one tab, disappearing with it when I switch it off. Also, as others have suggested, maybe considered un-synching with other devices now and then, just to avoid any more embarrassing moments like this.

On the plus side, try not to be too embarrassed by this – your breast is beautiful, and deserves to be suckled by the right person.

  3. What a lovely lamp it would be! Kind of the ANR answer to the major award Ralphie’s dad won in “A Christmas Story.” So important to keep the clouds off! Apple Cloud almost caused my downfall but luckily I caught it in time.
