InactiveDoes anyone have any recommendations for modest one piece swimsuits, for swimming laps, in an h cup and some support?
All the h cup swimsuits I’ve found are meant to be worn lounging at the beach. I don’t want to be the mom spilling her boobs out at the pool all the time.
I found Speedo had a couple and Freya had a couple, but not much else. And most of them were out of stock. Even with them, I worry about the bottom half not fitting properly. I tried lands end but they don’t go up to an h cup. I have three poorly fitting swimsuits that were supposed to support and cover the girls, sitting in my closet collecting dust and I’d like to comfortably swim again.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
November 17, 2022 at 9:20 pm #210110I’ve had some luck with swimsuitsforall. Or the bra brand Elomi sells swimsuits in bra sizing. Bare Necessities is one of the sites they sell through.
November 19, 2022 at 10:34 pm #210866Ok question…. Now I’m one fussy person when it comes to undies they have to match or they just aren’t getting put on 😂
Can’t wear underwired they reduce me to a bruised mess no matter who has fitted them, according to the lady in John Lewis it’s because I’m petite 🙄 not what I think more like short arse with big boobs 😂
So I love bralletes m&s and John Lewis are my go to, but I must admit I have a bit of a thing for boundary.co.uk probably best not to even go into why 😂
So do you have to match ladies or do you just pick the bra and not give a dam about the knickers I’ve lost count of the times I’ve not bought a bra because there was no set.
Makes me a bit hard to buy for too I have only had one man ever be brave enough 😉
Hope your well JB 😘😘November 20, 2022 at 9:14 am #211029Hi @crumpetbubbles if u like matching sets with bralettes you should definitely check out tutti rogue. They have gorgeous sets. I dont always match. In fact at times i deliberately buy different colours from similar sets so say green bra with purple flowers but the bottoms i might buy purple. Im weird though 😂🤣

December 3, 2022 at 6:59 am #215684Oh SHEIN all the way. They have sizes from S to US28. Definitely affordable but they don’t ship as fast as Amazon… though to be fair, I’ve seen some of their items on Amazon for slightly more money.
http://Www.SHEIN.com. Or their app.

InactiveGreat info! Thank you!
December 30, 2022 at 10:25 pm #225843There is a lady on here that makes her own lingerie. Perhaps if anyone is good at seeing they can make their own custom items. She is one of the Christmas puzzles.😉
January 2, 2023 at 8:02 pm #226932Hey Juicy,
I’m really sorry it’s taken so long for me to reply to this – I’ve kept remembering when I haven’t have the time to post and then forgetting when I do!
I’m a bit of an anorak when it comes to bra sizing and really want to promote what a difference proper fitting bras can make to us. It’s estimated that around 80% of women wear the wrong size bra, with the majority of us wearing a band size that’s too big and a cup size that’s too small.
There are a couple of sites I’d like to recommend as great starting points to determine the correct size and they are:
Commonly known as BoB, these lovely ladies have revolutionised my life in the world of normal bras. They have a bra size calculator that will give you a starting size and then also give tips and tricks on how to make sure you have the correct size and fit. It can be a bit trial and error because sizes alter dependent on style and manufacturers, but what a difference when you get it figured out!
They even have a Facebook group where you can ask for help and for fit checks if you need further advice.
https://www.abrathatfits.org/calculator.php
A pretty similar site to BoB, they use a slightly different calculator to give you your starting size and then provide fit advice too.
Once you’re armed with a starting size, my go to places for lingerie are:
Elomi
http://www.elomilingerie.com but they also come up pretty often in sales on Simply Be and other clothing outlets. They cater for up to a K cup (UK size) which is amazing, because not many places do. They’re expensive, but have amazing sales and their quality is awesome! Oh and their sports bra is the only thing I’ve ever managed to go running in, without giving anyone in a 10m radius black eyes!!
Bravissimo
This retailer is fabulous. They offer in store and online fittings and their returns process is phenomenal. The staff fit more by sight than measurement, but are usually pretty consistent with results from the BoB calculator.
If you’ve been fitted by them and subsequently find that you can’t get on with a purchase, even after you’ve worn the bra a few times, their customer service team will arrange returns and will also try and troubleshoot the issues with you.
They’re not the cheapest for certain brands of bra, but they’re definitely worth using the first time you want to try a particular brand/style, because of the returns policy.
This company are exclusively online, but carry an amazing range of brands that cater for D-K cup sizes (again UK sizes) including Curvy Kate, Pour Moi, Freya & Panache.
Curvy Kate are one of my favourites, but they vary wildly in sizes between styles which can be a bit of a nightmare, so I always tend to buy a couple of sizes in each style and send anything back that isn’t right.

InactiveBravissimo, which are (I think?) only in the UK but finally opened a store in NYC! Amazing shopping experience–you don’t go through any racks yourself, you are assigned a staff member and they run around bringing batches of 10 bras, help you strap in and decide what’s a good fit.
